Waiting

This is what Janet said about the wool festival this weekend:

Melissa and I went to Taos on Sunday. WOW! That was so much fun. I > think I spent most of any monies I could figure out to spend. And, I > came back wanting a rabbit or 3, ok 4. > > After some consternation on both sides Melissa is now sure > that "plucking" a rabbit does not hurt either you or the rabbit. I > think if she asked another person about "pulling out the hair" they > were going to deck her. ha! They kept saying they weren't "pulling" it > out. We went to the demo and even did a little plucking of our own. > Great fun. > > Have to start now saving for next year!

We had a great time. I bought enough wool to make Tim a sweater, and now I just have to figure out what kind I want to make. I'm not sure I'm bold enough to make an Aran sweater yet, but it would be the right color.

Tim is in the air now, on his way home for good this time. I've spent the last couple of days cleaning and getting everything perfect for him. I just have a couple of things left to do, but I get off early tomorrow, so I think I'm going to go to bed now and do the last of it when I get home. Besides, I need to do something that will keep me busy instead of sitting and waiting for time to go by. I can't believe that it's been a year already. Although time has gone by slowly, in a way, it's hard to believe we've been married over a year now, considering most of my previous relationships never even lasted a year. Our four year "monthaversary" is on Saturday!
